Please join us for CENIC's upcoming Gigabit or Bust Roundtable meeting.
This event, organized around topical Task Forces, will begin to identify
the opportunities and obstacles to achieving one gigabit throughout
California by 2010 and establish an action plan to achieve this goal.
Who Should Attend: The Gigabit or Bust Roundtable is open to people
interested in pursuing next generation broadband throughout California.
Participants should include, but are not limited to, representatives from
service providers, content providers, state, county and municipal
governments, state and local regulatory agencies, consumer groups, economic
development groups, academics, technologists, and businesses with an
interest in broadband. The Roundtable is inclusive: government (local,
state, and federal), private industry, consumer groups, education and
research, and service/application providers are all welcome to participate.
Join us on the road to a Gigabit.
Early Registration is available until March 11, 2004.
Walk-in Registrations will be accepted at the event.
No-Cost Option: There is also a no-cost option for those who wish to
participate in the task force meetings but do not wish to partake in the
food and beverages.
Register TODAY at http://www.cenic.org/GB/meetings/31704/index.htm.
Opportunity: We have three sessions set aside for Birds of a Feather (BOF)
discussions on March 17. If you would like to host a BOF session, please
send a short description of your proposed agenda to susan at cenic.org.
Note: The Roundtable immediately follows CENIC's annual conference. For
