On the Road to a Gigabit:  Community Readiness Guide

CENIC's One Gigabit or Bust Initiative, in conjunction with a small group 
of consultants, is working to update the CSPP Readiness Guide for Living in 
the Networked World.  The update will include revamping the Guide with a 
gigabit as the endpoint and provide communities in California and 
throughout the world an easy way to figure out how to get on the road to a 
gigabit.  It facilitates the first step of understanding where you are and 
provides a vision of where you need to be to reap the benefits of being 
connected in a Gigabit World. Most importantly, it prepares you to take 
actions that will enable your community, government, businesses, schools, 
community groups, and citizens to benefit from being as connected as possible.

CENIC is seeking additional sponsors for this work.  As a sponsor, you will 
receive credit in all printed and web-based materials and have an 
opportunity to participate in a series of statewide workshops on this topic.
