For the CENIC piPEs setup, will CENIC be suggesting one computer for
each function (bwctl, owamp, ndt)? I'd like to know so I can look at
getting more systems (we have 4 now, for 3 locations plus one floater)
to get proper coverage.
One computer for each function is suggested on the
http://e2epi.internet2.edu/network-perf-wk/requirements.html page.
I have bwctl and owamp setup on two computers (one at the border and
one in the building I'm in). If anyone wants to play around with bwctl
and/or owamp, let me know and I can set something up for you.
One other thing - the "requirements" web page talks about having to use
stratum 1 ntp servers for these systems, but we already have campus ntp
servers that talk to several stratum 1s out on the internet and the
testing systems are setup to get time from them. I'd really rather not
have to hunt down more stratum 1s for these boxes.
