[Optical-design] just so I'm clear on the concept

When the San Diego HPR router gets moved to UCR, it is intended to connect
via:

1) a new wave between LAX and UCR
2) the LAX1 wave that gets moved from LAX to UCR when the 15808 is moved

Then, UCSD gets a new HPR wave, and the present HPR backbone wave via
Tustin becomes their second connection.

Are these assumptions correct?

BTW, I see LAX65 going both north and south out of LAX, although there
are two router ports involved. Is this deliberate?
